She was born September 2, 1937, to Clarence and Mamie Turner Barton. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Patrick Springs, VA. She worked for nine years at Tultex in Madison, but was a home maker all her life, and also kept children at her home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ted Bullins in 1994. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Grady Bullins, her son Gary (Nancy) Bullins of Lawsonville, three grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Woods of Sandy Ridge, Minda and Michaela Bullins of Lawsonville, and two sisters-in-law, Evangeline Boles and Shirley Bullins, both of Lawsonville. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009, in the Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rhodes Family Cemetery.
