On the marriages of J.P.  I think Mary Eiline was his second wife.  In the 1880 census it shows J.P. & Mary E.(Eiline),  the children are Nancy age 14, and Altis age 12, then a 7 year span before William age 5, Stonewall 4 and Hattie 1.  I didn't find Texas marriages on the net.  Mary Ann
