    1. [BOWLES] James K. Polk Boles
    2. I have a James K. Polk Boles, b. July 15, 1844, that was born in probably Washington County Pen., the son of Cornelius and Susannah (Murchland) Boles. I have no further information about this gentleman. This is an unusual name and there probably aren't many with that name. Could their be any connection? I notice in the Census that he is 15 and others in the family are much younger or older, was he not a birth member of this family? I would be happy to share information with anyone if this is a connection. You can contact me at _ehorn33402@aol.com_ (mailto:ehorn33402@aol.com) . Ed Horning

    3. Ed, It may not be such an unusual name. James Knox Polk was President of the United States from 1845 to 1849, and there were probably lots of babies named for him. He had been Speaker of the House and Governor of Tennessee before he was elected president. Annette On 11/25/09, EHorn33402@aol.com <EHorn33402@aol.com> wrote: > I have a James K. Polk Boles, b.
