Another tidbit of info.... William M. Bowles, born 8 Jul 1873 at Gribble Springs TX, died 11 Mar 1926 in Dallas County TX, father was J. P. Bowles (born KY), mother was Eiline Burden (born KY); William was single, and was a hotel proprietor at the time of his death. This is according to his death certificate. If, as the 1910 census record shows, James was married twice, Eiline may have been his first wife.
Our family line also has a James K P Bowles. He was born in 1849 in Mo and is the son of Sampson E & Susan Bowles / Boles of McDonald Co Mo. Sampson is a brother to Rev Charles Boles of Ks, who is my great grandfather. I think her name was Mary Eiline, she died 1913 & named James P as her husband. The record was "Mary".
