Nale, 92, of Waterville passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, with her family by her side. She was the beloved mother of Carole T. Levine, Melvin T. Nale, Jr., Thomas J. Nale, John E. Nale, Richard C. Nale and Mark J. Nale. She was born in Waterville on Sept. 29, 1916, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Boles. She was predeceased by Melvin T. Nale Sr. and her siblings Jean (Boles) Nacozy, Maheba (Boles) Cutter, Angela (Boles) White, Elias Boles and Rose Mary (Karam) Baldacci. She is survived by her brother Joseph John Boles of Scottsdale, Ariz., and her sister Hilda (Boles) Cook of Bangor. She is also survived by five loving daughters-in-law, 15 loving grandchildren and five loving great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Caroline was a beloved and dedicated mother and grandmother ("Sittoo") who loved to cook many Lebanese dishes for her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Maronite Church and was famous for her m'jadara church suppers. She was a resident of Seton Village and enjoyed socializing with her many friends and neighbors. The children wish to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at MaineGeneral Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit, the staff at Oak Grove Rehabilitation and Living Center, the staff of Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area and HealthReach for their loving and exceptional care of their mother. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at St. Joseph Maronite Church, Front Street, Waterville, followed by a traditional Lebanese Mercy Meal. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Maronite Church Building Fund, 3 Appleton St., Waterville, ME 04901.
