Bowles, Sr. of Locust avenue, [sic] Houston, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Debra Gayle, to Robert Leon Franklin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon J. Franklin, of R. D. 1, Meadow street [sic], McDonald. "Miss Bowles, a 1982 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a 1983 graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, Pittsburgh, is employed by Carmen's Hairdressers, Washington Mall. "Mr. Franklin, a 1979 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, is attending the University of Pittsburgh. He is employed by WPGH-TV, Pittsburgh."
