He was a former employee of Hugh Park & Son, and a lumber man and farmer. He was a member of the Canadian Wildlife Federation, and the Historical Society of Nova Scotia and Ottawa, Ont. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and all sports. He is survived by son, Leonard, New Glasgow; sister, Grace Reese, Windsor. He was predeceased by his wife, Amelia M. (Bowles) Reese; stepson, Robert Bowles; sisters, Bessie Colewell, Ervette Hamilton; brother, Sylvester Reese. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
