Charlie, I recently posted at message to the Booles surname board at Genforum, encouraging descendants from the Georgia Bowles lines (many of which got permanently changed to Booles) to consider the DNA project. I am pretty sure that Wm. Bowles/Booles who married Sally Biven and settled in Georgia is part of my line. This William and my ancestor Benjamin Bowles enlisted together in the Revolutionary War, served together and were discharged together. Plus, I have found evidence that Wm. Bowles/Booles was in Franklin Co. NC along with my Benjamin in the period around the Rev. War. So, I believe these two guys were either brothers or cousins. I would really like for someone from the Wm. Bowles/Booles line to get into the DNA project. I will let you know if anyone contacts me. Brenda
