    3. Hello, I would very much like to share info. I have just returned from a local LDS family history center where I ordered some Norwich Microfishe and films. It is a little frustrating at times to not be able to get my hands on the records to confirm and check things out but as a fellow genealogist told me "The joy is in the discovery". Any way, I am living in Los Amgeles County California USA. I am researching my Bowles family line. My father was Robert Heston Bowles born 1929 in Ashland County, Ohio USA. His father was Harley Edward Bowles born 1902 in Ohio USA.His parents were George Bowles and Ida May Rogers. George was born in England in 1852. His parents were Richard/Rich'd Bowles (Born 1818,England and Died in USA 1880) and Diana Smith Bowles (born 1809 Gibraltar died 1883 Thorpe Next Norwich, Norfolk England). I have a theory that this is not Diana's maiden name and that perhaps Richard was her 2nd husband as she was 32 years old when she married him at the Britis! h Embassy in Seine, Paris France in 1843. Richard came to America with Diana and there sons William and George and owned about 72 acres of land and a Tavern on the railroad tracks in New London Ohio. Interesting fact is that he sold his property to a family named Leggett in Ohio. There are Bowles and Leggett marriages in Great Yarmouth England and I have to wonder again If I may find a connection there. I show records of who may be my Richard and family in Great Yarmouth. I believe he came by running a tavern from experience as I see there were a good number of taverns owned by Bowles Relatives. Just off the beaten path, did you know that Charles Bowles aka Black Bart is a Bowles from Great Yarmouth?! He would fit in quite well with some of my kin! Look forward to hearing from you. What country are you in ? Best Regards, R.L.Bowles-Meentzen Lisa Hall <lisa_jay_hall@hotmail.com> wrote:Hi - I have some Yarmouth Bowles in my line - get back to me if you wish to compare notes. So far have found the following spellings: Justice, Justies, Jestus,Justus. In my case here Justice, Jestus & Justus have all been the same person only the christian name has been spelt differently.
