Lovely marbled appearing black and brown textured cover, 6-1/4 x 9-1/4, 675 pages, black and white illustrations, everyname index. Ebenezer Brown was the son of William Brown and Hannah Sweet, daughter of Jesse and Hulda Whitford Sweet, all of Herkimer County (then Montgomery County), New York. Ebenezer married first, in Tompkins County, New York, Ann Weaver, daughter of John and Catharine Reasoner Weaver, by whom he had five children. Ann died in Quincey, Illinois. He married secondly, Phebe Draper Palmer, daughter of William, Sr. and Lydia Lathrop Draper, of Oneida County, New York, formerly of Ontario, Canada; Lydia's mother, Lydia Rogers Draper, also resided there. No children are reported for this marriage. His third wife was Elsie Samantha Pulsipher , daughter of Daniel and Clarissa Norton Pulsipher, who had been born in 1837 in Ohio; Six children are covered in the book. Lastly, Ebenezer married Mary Elizabeth Wright, daughter of John Parnell Wright and Mary Hill Fish, of Cambridge, England. Four children of the fourth marriage are covered in the book.
