Author: ddicken77 Surnames: Crouch, Bailey, Dever, Pendleton Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.taylor/13320/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The News-Journal, February 17, 1966 Ray Russell Crouch, 50 years of age, died at the Keesler Air Force Base Hospital in Biloxi, Miss., Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 3:00 p.m. Remains were brought to the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel here where funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 14, at 2:00 p.m. by Dr. Rual Perkins with burial in Brookside Cemetery. Mr. Crouch was born in Taylor County son of Mary Bailey and Thomas Keene Crouch, both deceased. He was member of the Methodist Church and retired from the U.S. Air Force as Master Sergeant four years ago. He served over 20 years as a Commissioned Officer and Pilot during World War II and during the Korean War. He and his family lived in Biloxi. He was married to Dorothy Dever who survives him with two sons, Douglas and David Allen Crouch, all of Biloxi, Miss.; one brother, William A. "Keene" Crouch and one sister, Mrs. Wesley Pendleton, both of Campbellsville. Pallbearers were Junior Bowles, W. I. Meader, Fuller Harding, John Bailey, C. L. Bowen and Marshall McG! locklin.
