Mr. and Mrs. Buster Cox and daughter spent Sunday in the George Cox and Walter Frey home. George Cox, the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Cox was operated upon at the Decatur county hospital Sunday afternoon for appendicitis. Teh latest report he was getting along as well as could be expected. Miss Pauline Frey is working in the George Cox home this week. Several relatives spent Sunday in the Leo Eischen home. Mrs. Everett Deemer and children spent Wednesday evening in the Walter Frey Home. Mr. and Mrs. Zell Boles and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cox and daughter, Dewey Hatfield, Walter Frey and Everett Deemer, Georgie Cox and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Green and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Parmer and son were all Van Wert visitors Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frey were in Leon Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pratt and daughter and grandchildren and also their son and his wife, of Creston spent Friday with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Clarence Porter and husband. Ruth Marie and Ronald Dean Parmer called in the C. E. Parmer home Friday morning. Roy Petty has been helping Dick Parmer with his work a few days of this week. Cpl. Glenn Parmer, who has been visiting his brothers, departed today by bus to Des Moines.
