Hartley, Since there is no 1890 census. We know by his age he probably didn't make it to 1800. Unless someone has written a genealogy you may never know for sure. As you know the Land carries the information that you need. Death and so forth. I too am from some of these families. I am a Glasgow and By??? Check where the children were or went. Your best is checking the land deeds at this point. By going some old timer might tell you. Then the families around them is also helpful. I would do all the research that I could before going. No one has answers for jypo's unless it has been written. Answering these questions would tell you if they moved. Then it would be assumed that he was buried in KY.
