I placed my uncle, civil war veteran William Bowles on this site a year ago. I wrote to the Soldiers and Sailors home in Sandusky Ohio and they sent his death certificate and tombstone photo to me. I then went to Findagrave and submitted. My point being that it is a user submitted site so if the info is in error, you can correct it through the section where it says" Leave a Flower."
