    1. [BOWLES] Dorothy Mallory, 1st wife of Sir George Bowles?
    2. susan ford collins
    3. Here is what I've been working on. Thomas Farquhar states that Joane Hart was the widow of Edward Gage. Edward Gage (source: http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/pedigree.aspx?tid=1020099&pg=0<http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/pedigree.aspx?tid=1020099&pg=0> ) died in 1568 in Sussex England. So she married George after 1568, after Brancepeth and rebellion collapsed 15 Dec 1569. If Dorothy Mallory was George's first wife, then his children by her would have had to be born before 1560. Am I missing something? Feedback please. Susan Bowles Ford Collins

    3. Susan, George married Joane Hart Gage about 1580. She was only married to Edward Gage for about a year. John was born in 1581. I will have to look it up but I think Joane married Gage in 1578? 3. George married Joane, eldest daughter of Sir John Harts, she was the widow of Edward Gage, who she married 1577. Joane and Edward Gage were not married long before Edward died.
