Richard and family moved to Fort William about 1880 and family members were part of the community well into the 1900s. They owned a thriving catering business that provided foodstuffs to the CPR. Some descendents I know: Josie Smith born in Fort William married to Jack L. Davidson. I believe this family moved to Alberta or BC. Jack was in construction. Louise A. Smith married C.D.
