Parkerson, a native of Montgomery Co, died Monday at Montford Jones Memorial Hospital following an illness of seveal years. He was a member of the French Camp Bapt. church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nettie Bowles Parkerson of French Camp; a daughter, Mrs. Johnny Pee of McCool; 3 sons, Warren Parkerson of Tallahasse, Fla., Welden Parkerson of Denham Springs & F.L. "Buddy" Parkerson of Ridgeland. He also leaves 4 sisters, Mrs. Oda McElroy of Leland, Mrs. ALma Brantley, Mrs. Faye Shelton of Indianola, MRs. Zama Johnstonof Jackson; 3 bro., Stevie Parkerson of Greenville, Luther Parkerson of Indianola & Ray Parkerson of Jackson. Burial was in Bethsaida Cem. with Nowell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Johnny Pee, JR; James Pee, Dorsey Carson, H.E. Smith, Jr., Calton Salk, Terry Parkerson, Kevin Grice & Jeff Ward.
