As of this morning we have three Bowles DNA participants signed up. These should receive their kits soon (this week or early next week). If you have decided to participate, or are seriously considering it, I urge you to go ahead and sign up at the website listed below. http://www.familytreedna.com/surname_join.asp?code=W26816&special=true Once the kit has arrived back at Family Tree DNA it will take several weeks, perhaps as much as two months for the results to be available. Don't be confused by TV shows where DNA samples are processed and returned overnight. It takes longer than that. The technicians are very careful and double check their work before releasing the results, so we have to be patient. Because of the time involved, the sooner you get your kit and return it, the sooner the results will be available and you can start seeing if we have matches.
