Once we get things rolling a bit, what I want to do is have each participant to identify for the group their known ancestors beginning with great-grandparents and moving back in time. There is no need to share more recent ancestors at this point. For example, if I were eligible to test for the Bowles line, I would list the following: John Bowles + Celia White Austin Washington Bowles + Nancy Hayden Clark William Clark Bowles + Sophia Frances Veluzat William and Sophia are my great-grandparents. John Bowles is my brick wall. However, let's wait until we begin to see some results before we post this information so that we can tie the test results to the genealogy.
