Fisk, wonder if any descendants out there??? Its an illumination in this book by the Fire Brigade.. some names I can make out.... George Bowles. Lieutanant Geo.Henry Robinson.Foremen K.B. Church. Foremen George Rumble Ass. Manager Thomas Hooker - he built Marquis of Normanby Hotel and had a Saw Mill...Hon. Member Abbott. cant read initial Hon. Member Samuel Hunter. ? Angove Robert Goodin Charles Potts ? Greeks Thomas Harland A. Plank Robert Crawford ? Long E. A. Beard. P. Erickson N? Campin Crawley? T. Cole. Secretary. cant make out the other names... I know from helping people with certain names, they can find out more about their ancestors in learning about different books available to search through... like school records. Wises. Electoral Rolls.. This was presented to A. Fisk on his departure from the town in 1881. it was returned to the Brigade in 1942 by a daughter of A. Fisk in Wanganui... This book is well worth a good browse... its normally in our Museum and Historic centre in Carterton, have borrowed overnight to help anyone!!
