    3. Bellinda, I don't know if Elizabeth Cawsey was married to John Straton at this time, but he was in Northumberland Co in 1651. I have read of women being married to three different men in same week. I'm begining to wonder about Elizabeth? There is a John Lawren listed after Edward Bowles, not sure if Lawrence or Lawson. I believe Willian Bolton is William Batten from MD, John Bowles married his wife. If I remember right William had a son Coningham. Edward Bowles died in MD in 1659, he was a brother to John who married William Battens wife. John Bowles who married William Battens wife was a son of John Bowles who made will in Elizabeth City in 1664. John gave his son John all his land, some of the land belong to Anna a daughter of Elizabeth (Southy, Southell)Cawsey who was married to John Bowles in 1664.
