Born in Yadkin County on March 24, 1972, he was a son of Judy Dickens of Hamptonville and Billy Michaels of Yadkinville. Danny was employed with Shelton' s Heating & Cooling in Mocksville. He enjoyed puzzles, racing, NASCAR and dearly loved his girls. He was preceded in death by his Step Father, Mr. Jason Dickens, his Maternal Grandfather, Mr. J.D. Underwood and his Paternal Grandparents, Bonson and Lucille Mickles. On June 20, 1998, he married the former Suzanne Burris who survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Madison and Piper Michaels, his father and step mother, Billy and Debbie Michaels of Yadkinville, his mother, Judy Dickens of Hamptonville, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Adrian and Karen Macias of Supply, N.C., a brother, S. Dale Michaels of Supply, N.C., a sister, Temple L. Kellerman and her husband, Bryan of Winston-Sale! m, his maternal Grandmother and her husband, Betty and Billy Wyatt of East Bend, N.C., two step sisters, Tina Engebretson and her husband, Mike of East Bend and Rebecca Dickens of Atlanta, Ga. and a step brother, Billy Sapp and his wife, April of Winston-Salem. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: Bonnie Hutchins (David), Bobby Mickles (Wanda), Denny Mickles (Linda), Linda Gail Lafferty (David), Ruth Stewart (David), Edith LeVan (Buddy), Shirley Winebarger (Roger), and Sarah and Joey Boles. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services commending Danny' s spirit back to God who gave it will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, at Hanes Grove United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mac Warren and Rev. J. Lane Levan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until service time at the church prior. At other times they will assemble at the residence of his mother, Judy Dickens at 1816 U. S. 21 Hwy. Hamptonvill! e. A gathering and meal will follow the burial at the church.
