We have a problem here, is the person bapt. 13th Feb'y 1703/4 John Bowles Jr or a son of John Bowles Jr? A very important piece of information is that Henry Bow daughter was bapt in 1703 in St Peters Parish, New Kent Co, VA. In the 1704 census there was only John Bowles listed in New Kent Co with land. Henry Bow must have been living on John Bowles land in 1704. July 11, 1719 both John Bowles and Henry Bow patent land in New Kent Co, VA. This leads me to believe that John Bowles who married Ann is the grandson of John Bowles in 1719, and John Bowles (Bow) who married Mary was a son of Henry Bow, a son of John Bowles who had land in New Kent Co before 1719.
