    1. Thomas Bowles 1708, New Kent Co
    2. Dale, here is the information I was speaking of. It was Beaver Dam Swamp not Creek, OPPS. The more I look at this, it could be that John Bowles Sr was a son of Thomas rather than Henry? (Probably not.) I think what happen here, is when John and Mary came back to Hanover Co from Middlesex Co, they settled on Isaac Winston land in 1755.At that point they had the same neighbors as the Thomas Bowles group. We also know that Henry and Nathaniel Bowe (probably sons of John and Mary) had land in Hanover Co in 1764. Nathaniel Bowe died 1785 on Stoney Run the same place the Thomas Bowles group lived. My thoughts have been that Thomas Bowles had a son named John Bowles that married Sarah Knight. John Bowles went to Middlesex Co, John Bowles went to Goochland Co, John Bowles went to Henrico Co, in the mid to upper 1740's, which one is which??? Leathel, Jan.1,1708.
