I have a Bowles Lunch spoon which my Grandmother, Ethel Bowles, borrowed from the Ottawa restaurant about 1920. While Bowles Lunch seems to have been only in Ontario (multiple restaurants in both Ottawa and Toronto that I know of) I have always heard that they were owned by an H.L.
