"The Times joins the many Barren county friends of Mr. Fletcher Bailey, Glasgow, R. 4, in extending sympathy in the recent death of his son, Mr. S. F. Bailey, Jr., age 36, who died at the Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., from a week's illness of throat infection. "Young Bailey has resided in Detroit for the past fifteen years where he had been employed by the Ford Motor Company. His untimely passing came as a distinct shock to his many Barren county friends. He was a devout member of the Baptist Church. "Besides his father, Mr. Fletcher Bailey, and step-mother, he is survived by wife and three children and the following sisters: Mrs Beulah Witty, Mrs Maymie Peden, both of east Glasgow, Mrs. Lile Boles, and Mrs. Maude Goode, both of Lindsay, Calif. Funeral and burial services were held at Detroit." Undated Glasgow (KY) Times newspaper.
