Margaret was born 14 March 1848. She was the daughter of Pinckney Jarvis and Catherine "Kitty Ann" Gassaway. Robert, have you done any research on the Gassaways. I have two in Albemarle Co, VA that witness Thomas Anderson will in 1758. I thought maybe the Jarvis were related to the Nathaniel V. Bowles line in Barren Co. Beaver Dam Church in Edmonson Co is not far from where Nathaniel V. was buried. I pasted a piece below which names Clayton who he married second time and A.B. Gardner who married Emily Bowles daughter of Thomas Bowles and Jemina (Day)Bowles of Hanover Co, Va. Can you believe they named a church after Beaver Dam, Va, where they were from? I can.
