She united in marriage to Floyd Cox who preceded her in death May 8, 1960. She is survived by one son, James L. Cox of Columbus, Indiana; three brothers, Fred Swafford of Jamestown, Paul Swafford of Campbellsville, and Ted Swafford of Franklin, Indiana; four grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9 at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Taylor County by the Rev. Gerald Hancock. Burial was in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Junior Johnson, Albert Swafford, Donald Swafford, William Swafford, Leon Shepherd and Wallace A. Cox.
