If this is the William and Sarah of Barren and Metcalfe Co,Ky's, Dripping Springs church, and if William's middle name was Anderson, could this also be the Anderson Bowles who died in 1809? I think it was. Apparently, William Bowles was alive until 1809. Since, in 1807, sister Lucy was his servent, as recorded in Dripping Springs church records. But, by 1809 of April, sister Lucy was then a servent of Sarah Bowles. Also recorded in Dripping Springs church records. Sincerely, Ludema Bowles -------- Original Message -------- ==> From: "Leathel Bowles" <LEATHEL@worldnet.att.net> ==> Date: Sat, 5 Mar 2005 22:08:07 -0500 William Anderson Bowles is the son of Hughs and Mary (Shipp) Bowles. Hughs Bowles is the son of Gedion and Charity Ann (Hughes) Bowles. My guess the William Bowles 55 years old in 1850 was probably 45 years old and son of William Anderson Bowles? Anderson and Elbert Bowles are also sons of William Anderson Bowles. With correct dates should match DNA #31906.
