Hi Chuck, In Tabatha Jones list there is a Bowles with 1 tithe. In Col. Bolings list there is Benj Boles and a Dole that could be Boles. Both Benjamin and James were in Amelia in 1742. My guess is James is a son of Benjamin. My guess both Benjamin and James had a son named Jeremiah. Look at 1751.
