Born in Guysborough, Charles was the son of the late Ella (Dorrington) Mills. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathleen (Bowles) Dorrington; sons, Jackie and Paul, Toronto; daughter, Deborah Babulal, Toronto; 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Don was a member of Second Baptist Church, New Glasgow. For many years he was an employee of the Town of New Glasgow, retiring as Supervisor of Water Works. He was an avid sportsman who thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, boxing and hockey. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Second United Baptist Church with Rev. Morley Shaw officiating.
