Bowls Benjamin,Heirs, 2000 ac. Book 8, Page 358. Date Surveyed Oct. 6, 1797. Scott Co,Ky. Watercourse, Elkhorn. 9. 1789 Woodford - Fayette --- Versailles. It was cut 2 times after it was formed;1792 Scott. 11. 1792 Scott - Woodford --- Georgetown. It was cut 2 times after it was formed. 1794 Harrison;1794 Cambell. Linne, when Benjamin wrote his will in 1780, he gave his brothers John 1000ac and Thomas 500ac of land in KY. He gave his sister Mary Ford 500 ac in Ky. In 1780 when this will was written the land was in Kentucky County Virginia, then Fayette Co,KY then Woodford Co,Ky before Scott Co, KY in 1797 when the land was finally surveyed. I don't know who the land was surveyed to in 1797, but don't think it was either of his brothers or his sister. I assume that is why his will is listed in KY?
