Peter Bauer had a son Joseph who was born 3/19/1803-d.3/26/1887. Joseph immigrated to Niagara county, New York in June 1844. His death certificate lists his father as Peter Bauer, sometime after arriving he changed the spelling of his last name to bower. Josephs son Joseph jrs 50th wedding article states they had lived in a town called Schwekes, Germany.I do not believe that Peter ever immigrated to the U.S, thats as far back as i've been able to document so far. If anybody has any info that they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated.
