Looking for parents of David Corwin Bowers , (my Great-Grandfather) born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1830 (date unknown). Appears on 1850 census in Logan County, Illinois. First marriage was to Delila ?. That marriage produced Cornelius Philander Bowers. Second marriage was to Nancy Carey (my Great Grandmother) in Collinsville, Ill August 4, 1859. Children: Albin, Miranda, Albert, and John. John was my Grandfather. David died 2-9-1876 in Tazewell Co. Ill, after serving in Civil War. Family then moved to Delaware. Any help? Thanks in advance. Warren W.
