Joseph BOWERS was born in PA or MD in 1803 to German parents. In 1820, his sister, Mary, married Michael Calliflower in Frederick Co. MD. In 1828, he and Michael Calliflower purchased land in Darke Co. OH. In 1829, he married Elizabeth PARENT in Darke Co. OH. In 1870, he and Elizabeth moved to Warren Co. IA along with their two sons, Joseph Henry and Samuel Bowers. He died after 1880 probably in IA. I am seeking information on his death and burial as well as his parents. Terry from Tucson (earlier posting) and I are both connected to this family.
