My line is John Bowers of Caswell Co., NC. John was married to Lucy LNU and had three children. They were Henrietta, Elizabeth and James. John Bowers died in Caswell Co. in 1823, will was signed the same year and was probated in 1824 by his son-in-law Samuel Keeton. John Bowers is found in Caswell Co. as early as 1795 when he bought land on South Hico Lake. Henrietta was my gggrandmother who m. Stephen Hood son/o Abraham Hood of Caswell Co., NC., prior to that Amelia Co., Virginia. I have Elizabeth's line but James has eluded me. Maybe I can make contact with a James Bowers researcher.
