Hi All, I'm one of the perpetual lurkers...<grin> I hope that my cross-posting this to both the Bower & the Bowers lists is OK. If not, I apologize. I only have one BOWERS that I _know_ I'm descended from: Susanna born 26 Jun 1828 possibly in Crawford Co., OH. Married to Henry SHOOK 10 Nov 1846 in Crawford Co., OH and died in Van Wert Co., OH in 1889. Family legend has it that we are related to the other BOWERS (& possibly the other BOWER) families here in Van Wert Co., OH but no one knows how.
