I've "rescued" the original marriage certificate belonging to Lewis GEORGE and Rachael MULBERGER both of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania who were married there on the 8th of Feb 1866. The wedding was officiated by Justice of the Peace, Daniel HELPPENICK and witnessed by, Hugh A. REARICK and Fred COOK. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the couple: Lewis GEORGE b. 1 Sept 1846 in Kittanning Township, PA, the son of Leonard GEORGE (b. 1801-1802 in PA) and Sarah Barbara GONGAWARE (b. 29 May 1806 in Westmoreland Co. PA). Lewis married Rachel REARICK (b. 3 Mar 1841 in PA). Lewis died 11 Mar 1922. Rachel REARICK was the daughter of Isaac REARICK (b. 1812 in Armstrong Co. PA) and Barbara BOWERS (b. 11 Dec 1818). Rachel's first marriage was to Samuel MULBERGER (b. 1836) with whom she had two children, Ida May b. 1862 and Laura Clarissa MULBERGER b. 1863. Rachel's second marriage was to Lewis GEORGE. Rachel died 11 Aug 1920.
