The NC State Archives and Library has been adding family records online. They have transcribed nearly 220 Family Bible Records and the 6 volume Marriage and Death Notices from Raleigh Register and North Carolina State Gazetteer (1799-1893), The website for the digital family records is: http://statelibrary.ncdcr.gov/dimp/digital/ncfamilyrecords/family.html If interested in donating family records, particularly bible records with any dates prior to 1913, contact Druscie Simpson at Druscie.simpson@ncdcr.gov It sounds like they are interested in records that were prior to the date births/deaths were required (1913).
