Hi, My family line as far back as I have now is, John Bower born 1791 possibly in PA. He died Oct. 4, 1863. He was married to Elizabeth Raber who died Nov. 16, 1858. I have only two children of there's but suspect there were probably more. One is, Philip Bower born April 11, 1814 in Stark Co., Ohio, died in 1886, and is buried at Pierce - Whitmore Cem., in IN. He married Mary Yeager on Nov. 15, 1836 in Portage Co., OH. She died in 1868. John married a second time, March 1876 to Rebecca Fauklner. The other child, Daniel Bower, born Aug. 1815 in Ohio, married Phoebe J. Thomson. I'm looking for the parents of John Bower and any other information about this family. I was told when they lived in PA the name may have been spelled Bauer. Any help would be appreciated.
