Wife Mary/Maria, also born in Germany. Had at least one child, Moses Bowers (1859 - 1927), possibly in North Dumfries Twp, Waterloo County. In 1890, Moses married Elizabeth Kunsenhauser (1864-1946), daughter of John and Susannah, both of Wilmot Twp. Marriage of Moses and Elizabeth took place in Berlin, Ontario in 1890. Had one child, Russell Erwin (1894-1972) and emigrated to Michigan in 1901. Sound even vaguely familiar to anyone?
