Hi everyone, Okay folks, here's the latest merge development -- I am being pulled here between two Rootsweb adminstrators. One says it's okay to merge the lists while another says "no, it isn't." In the meantime, you and I are all getting jerked around trying to figure out what's what. This was not supposed to become a tug of war with me or any of you caught in the middle! So, here's what I'm going to do -- Until the Rootsweb administrators figure out what the policy is and come to an agreement, I'm going to halt the merge and get us out of this. Both the lists are still intact, so......if you did not unsubscribe yourself from the BOWERS or BAUER list, then you're still on it your original list. [You can tell that you're still on your original list by looking at the From: portion in the top of this message.] I've reset both list's parameters so everything is back to the way it was. You are able to begin posting to each other again today. Instead now, you have the option of joining one, two or even all three lists. Also, if you joined the BOWER-L and wish to be only on your original list, you can unsub yourself or write to me privately and I'll do it manually for you. You should also realize that if you join just one list you stand the chance of missing material coming out on a second list unless we crosspost. I'll answer all your questions or address any concerns regarding this situation as best I can if you'll email me directly <[email protected]>. I apologize if you're totally confused now. I am too! But I have no doubt we'll get through this together with our heads above water. If any new developments come from Rootsweb, I'll let you know immediately. Thanks for your patience, everyone.
