Hello!!! I just come across some interesting information that I think might have a connection to my Bowers Family. Johnathon Bowers was married to Hannah Barrett on May 7, 1699 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts (Middlesex County). They had a son William Bowers born Jan 7, 1709 in either Chelmsford/Lexinton, Massachusetts (Middlesex County). William Bowers married Martha Winship in 1741 in Billerica, Massachusetts (Middlesex County). They had a son named Samuel Bowers born June 3, 1754 in Billerica, Massachusetts (Middlesex County). William Bowers died September 16, 1799. (This information was found on Family Search LDS Site) Now my question is does anyone know who these people are?? In my family I have a Samuel Bowers born June 3, 1754. According to my cousin DAR application Samuel was born in Pennsylvania. I know he lived in Philadelphia, Penn during the Revolution War because he was in it. Samuel Bowers married Mary Sutter on April 18, 1790 in St. Pauls Church in Philadelphia, Penn. They had 4 known children, Mary born 1791, William born 1795 (Twin), George born 1795 (Twin, and my line) and Samuel born between 1794-1797. Could this be same family connected to the Massachusetts Family. I sure would appreciate any input anyone would have to determine if it is the same family. Mike
