    3. Thank you!! Thank you for posting as Lloyd Bowers is a grandfathers line and have been researching for years. I have most of the info shown but what a find for my family. Nobody else need try to purchase as I bought it outright, no bid - - - much too important to do otherwise. The reference to Charles Lloyd Bowers is new to me as I have always believed he was Lloyd (only). He is thought to be the son of Henry Bowers (of Swanesa. Ma) and It may well be that his full name is Charles Lloyd Bowers but he went by the name Lloyd only, the Charles being dropped for everyday use. He was ships owner and Captain of the "Three Sisters" at the time of his death (the ship and it's cargo were sold in Baltimore). I knew he had died (of fever) in Haiti (returning to MA from the Indies with a cargo of sugar) but not much else. What I don't know is if he is buried in Haiti or MA, or elsewhere for that matter as there are strong indications that the family had moved to Baltimore (son Henry was a resident of this city). His (Lloyd's) daughter, Hannah Cushing Bowers, married a Samuel Cooper. Lloyd had at least six children but I have the names of just three. If anyone out there is connected to this family would really like to hear from you!! I will probably be awake all night.......Christmas in August!!!!
