This is my first time posting to this site.  My g-uncle did DNA and we did not match anyone.    My gg grandfather-Henry Franklin Bowers b: 7 Feb 1872 in Haysville, Clay County, NC married Laura Locklear in Fort Payne, AL on 14 July 1917; died 28 Mar 1952 in Trion, GA.    Henry's father was James C Bowers b: abt 1832 in NC; m abt 1870 to Nancy Sexton b: abt 1853; died 02 Aug 1888 in Fort Payne AL.  He joined the 39th NC infantry in 1861.  James is buried with his brothers, Thomas Jefferson and Anthony C Bowers at the old City Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL.   I believe that James' father is Thomas Bowers (by census research) b: Abt 1793 in VA and died aft 1870.  Mother:  Mary b: abt 1818 and died after 1870 (1870 Cocke county, TN census).   Any information would be appreciated concerning these Bowers'.   Thank you.
