KERSHAW COUNTY MAN FOUND DEAD -------------------------------------------------------------- Landy Bowers Died During Night _____________________________ Camden, Feb. 7 (1922)-- Landy Bowers, a well respected citizen of the northeast section of Kershaw county, was found dead in his bed Tuesday morning. Mr. Bowers retired the night before in apparent good health. The next morning when breakfast had been prepared one of his daughters went to his room to call him, but getting no response she reported to another member of the family who immediately went to his room and upon trying to arouse him found that he was dead. Mr. Bowers was 63 years of age and is survived by his wife and 12 children--seven sons and five daughters, all grown, and all married with one exception. His body was interred on Thursday.
