Everybody, I felt I needed to pass this on.... Tomorrow the stock market opens. There's been talk about how the whole world is waiting to see if the U.S. stock market takes a big dive or is o.k. If we could get the word out for everyone to stay calm and ride out the storm, maybe stocks would not plunge. The airlines have already taken a big hit and dumping their stock is not what they need now. Institutional selling might not help either, but maybe if we can spread the word via the internet to as many as possible including the institutions, we can keep our stock market from taking a big dive and show our faith in our country and our economy. Remaining calm in the wake of all that has happened is what we need to do now.

Dear Donna -- You just said what I've been thinking. Good for you. I'm a Canadian, but tomorrow I plan to BUY some American company stock. I may lose some money on the deal -- but who cares, the profit I'm investing for this time is not financial.
