The Bower Family I am seeking came from the Pa. area, beginning with Conrad Bauer/Bower. My great, great, great grandmother was Catherine Bower who married Dr. Cyrus C. Moore in Philadelphia in 1844, had five children by 1859, then started their move to Auburn, Shawnee Co., Kansas in 1859. I believe that Catherine's father was George C. Bower and her mother was Rebecca Wood.. Geo. and Catherine were married in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pa on 27 Aug. 1788.
