Mary and all, I looked on the map and noticed Washington Co., IN was east of Olney, IL and this whole area is not far north of the KY area where some of my 'southern' Bowers lived. Interesting. My direct line went from TN>MS, the father and two siblings went TN>KY with their descendants to IL and WA, and no tellin where else! Maybe it would help if we posted some of our brick walls.
