I am also researching Bowers from Canton, Stark County. My ggrandad was Christian (Christopher) F. Bowers Born 1856 somewhere in Germany. He married Charlotte A. Long of Salem, Ohio and they had somewhere between 11 and 15 children. Both Christian and Charlotte are buried in West Lawn Cemetery in Canton. My grandfather was their third child - Harry B. Bowers.
